Cafe & Wine Bar Design #1

Cafe & Wine Bar #1
This project was to design a cafe & wine bar in the countryside. The cafe opens during the day-time & bar opens in the night-time. Therefore, design challenge was to create a space that is warm/bright and cool/luxury at the same time.
We chose wood panel wall which will bring natural atmosphere. This Cafe&Bar handles natural wines, we tried to bring the brand identity into the space materials. And marble accent will also bring out the naturality & luxurious look together.

It was not our option to have lounge furnitures. The client wanted to maximise the seating area and must be flexible to any group of customers. Rather than placing circular table, we used rectangular shaped table with metal finishes.
The metal finish generated modern touch in the natural surroundings.
During the night-time. It was important to design lighting system that is not too bright and not too dark. We tried use indirect lighting as much as possible because it will give enough level of illumination with natural atmosphere.
We love curtains. It is easy to use and looks natural. The colour of the curtain is bluish gray that matches the brand colour scheme and accent marble. The repetition of curtains makes layering of the space which exaggerate the depths of spaces.
The reason why we love Gagenau appliances is that we can put out design into so it will not stand out alone. The Gagenau wine cellar will store expensive wines that must be chilled. Inbetween them, there is a small service station.
